2024 Race for Autism

Saturday, April 6, 2024, 6:30 - 11:00am

Be a SUPERHERO for Autism! Join us as we celebrate our 20th Anniversary Race for Autism 5K Run/ Walk and One Mile Family Walk scheduled for Saturday, April 6, 2024 in beautiful Balboa Park! This family friendly event attracts thousands of Superheroes from all across San Diego to promote awareness, shine a spotlight on neurodiversity, and inclusion efforts, and raises funds to support local autism programs and initiatives.

Autism now affects 1 in every 36 children in the US today and over 30,000 individuals right here in San Diego. That's up from 1 in 44 children just one year ago.

To help, 100% of the donations raised by the Race for Autism helps to support autism programs and new initiatives in our community, increasing the learning, social, training and employment opportunities for those with autism in San Diego. THANKS to the support of people like you, NFAR has awarded over 2.2 MILLION dollars to local autism initiatives and classrooms, benefitting thousands of local individuals and families each year.

Join us for the fun! Registration includes a Race bib, T-shirt and commemorative medal. Also music, children's activities and an autism resource fair.

Location: The Race Registration, Resource Fair, Stage and Children's Activities will all take place in the grassy area between 6th and Balboa Drive, and El Prado and Juniper. The Start Line is on 6th Street adjacent to the Stage, and the Finish Line is on Balboa Drive and exiting into the Resource Fair.
